A unique musical journey into the spiritual and sonic worlds of the Middle Ages, bringing together the extraordinary music of Hildegard von Bingen and the vibrant songs of the Libre Vermell deMontserrat, a remarkable collection of pilgrimage songs compiled at the end of the 14th century. Saxophone improvisation by Cezariusz Gadzina and hurdy-gurdy (vielle à roue) and hammered dulcimer played by Jerzy Burdzy. Baritone Richard Craddock.
