Architect Antoni Gaudí: From Local Prodigy to Universal Genius

European launch of the Gaudí Movement on the occasion of the centenary of Antoni Gaudí’s death.

The event will take place on Tuesday, 29 September 2026, from 18:00 to 20:00 at the premises of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions at Square de Meeûs 1, 1000 Brussels. Please find attached its programme.

Under the title "Architect Antoni Gaudí: From Local Prodigy to Universal Genius", the programme will feature a lecture by Gaudí biographer Josep Maria Tarragona, a screening of the Movement’s promotional video, a presentation of its objectives and future projects, and a musical performance by Catalan tenor Jordi Cortada, followed by a glass of cava.

This willl be the presentation in Brussels of the movement inspired in the legacy of one of the most influential architects of modern times.
