Tango Argentina: Colombo-Kociolek-Frontini Tango Trio

The Colombo Kociolek Frontini Tango Trio was founded by three musicians from the current Parisian scene, Fabrizio Colombo on bandoneon, Émilie Aridon-Kociołek on piano, and Lucas Frontini on double bass, who were brought together by their fascination with the sound of the iconic trios of Argentine tango history. Following in the footsteps of the Vanguatrio in particular, a group from Buenos Aires in the 1970s, the repertoire imagined and arranged here by Fabrizio Colombo offers a rich palette of nuances, combining a strong tango identity with forays into jazz and an exceptional display of virtuosity.
This is an opportunity for these three musicians to combine their sounds and energies in the magic of the trio sound and to make their mark on the rich and exciting landscape of contemporary instrumental tango.
