Lace Making Initiation Weekend

Cross, twist, cross, twist, cross… these meticulous, heritage gestures of lace making come back to life. Over the course of a weekend, discover the art of contemporary lace making.

Through hands on experimentation, artist Deborah Lothe will guide you in practising bobbin lace. Over these two days, you will discover the basics of this technique through the three fundamental stitches and the use of coloured threads. This small group initiation blends tradition with personal expression. Each participant creates a unique piece, born from their own imagination.
