[NEW album] Sonico plays "Eduardo Rovira: Inedito e Inconcluso" ()
"Eduardo Rovira: Inedito e Inconcluso", Sonico's second album, was recorded in December at the Academiezaal (Sint-Truiden, Be).
Despite the Covid19 crisis, Sonico's album was released on May and received the attention of the international media.
Rolling Stone magazine has chosen Sonico as one of the 7 essential groups for the rebuilding of modern tango.
SONICO, created in Brussels (Belgium) in , has rescued the repertoire of Eduardo Rovira, a key composer in the creation of "tango nuevo".
Often mistakenly considered 'the other Piazzolla', Rovira's innovations achieved a creative fusion between the popular roots of tango and classical music in a bold synthesis, making his own imprint during the Buenos Aires vanguard of the 1960s.
