Solar-Eclpse Show

Our next show on the March, is entitled the “Solar-Eclipse Show” to commemorate the partial eclipse of the sun that will have occurred on that day. It is not to be confused with the total eclipse of the moon which will have occurred on the 14th March. The show will feature four groups each performing one set a-piece.

“Yvonne & Friends” – Yvonne Stausbol, who appeared in our very first show in and again in , is joined by five friends to give what may be a farewell performance, as she will be leaving Belgium for Denmark shortly. They will perform the highly danceable numbers from her Cd, “Out of the Whirlwind”.

“Little Bits” – this popular trio, a subset of Isbits, appears again to entrance us with their magical performances of jazzy, folkish numbers.

“Three Darn Hot” – originally a very popular “Andrews Sisters” tribute group, appears again, this time with a different repertoire, equally-suited to their accomplished, close-harmony-style singing.

“HL7” (Hammurabi Lucky 7) – is a new group with some interesting mood-music. They rearrange modern tunes in their own way, “creating a dream-pop sound sprinkled with beep-boops and guitar arpeggios”. The group’s name is taken from an it protocol. However, Hammurabi was a Babylonian king famous for codifying his laws.
