Sándor Szász: Shadows of Lautréamont - Exhibition
Kálmán Makláry Fine Art Gallery will represent Hungary again at Brafa Art Fair. On this occasion, the Balassi Institute will present the unique surrealist and naturalist artworks of the nationally and internationally acknowledged artist, Sándor Szász.
The exhibition presents the surrealist and naturalist artworks of Sándor Szász. The varieties of his paintings are well described with the term 'européer', in the meaning of the common qualities of the modern Hungarian fine art and ‘Gesamtkunstwerk’ the total artwork: wandering in a long artistic and creative path and being self-identical. The new series of the young artist, the montage perfectly matches with the works of master Lautréamont with its sweet-melancholic atmosphere and the playful re-imagining of the creative process.
