Mayukh Gangopadhyay & Souvik Datta- India Sarod & Tabla

 
Mayukh Gangopadhyay is one of the youngest `sarod’ player in the world who made his entry in the music scene in Europe at the age of He had been learning more than 17 years belonging to Maihar Gharana (style of music). Now, he is under the tutelage of Smt. Troilee Dutta,
who is one of the eminent disciples of Late Pt. Kamal Mallik. He has performed widely in Europe and India at various noted venues, like: Uttara University in Dhaka, Association Bhairavi in France, Babel Sound World Music Festival in Hungary, Assam University in Silchar, Devgandhar Association in Pune, etc.

Souvik Datta had been privileged to study Percussion under Pandit Shankar Ghosh, the globally renowned legend. Apart from more than one hundred and fifty shows already in Europe: the most prestigious performance venues in India include: Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark; Dover Lane Music Conference (Periodical Concert), Indo-Occidental Symbiosis ‘Kal ke Kalakar’, Tagore Research Centre-Jorasanko, etc. He completed his Masters Degree in Percussion Music with First Class Marks from the renowned Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata, India.
