À l’occasion de l’exposition à L’Enfant Sauvage La Lokal Fototek Foundation éditera deux publications basées sur deux collections d’archives bruxelloises - le catalogue spatial Frimousse et les albums personnels de la famille Cocozza. Ils ont proposé aux artistes Kenneth Mottar et Nick Defour d’intervenir sur ces séries d’images et de réaliser une publication.

La Lokal Fototek Foundation a composé pour l’occasion neuf règles à suivre qui forment un dogme de fabrication des publications :

1- L’artiste partira à chaque fois des images imprimées sur du papier tactile lisse ou bronzé.
’équipe de la Lokal Fototek Foundation imprimera les photos en format original et non distordu.
3- La publication ne devra pas être spécifiquement lisible, ne devra pas raconter une histoire compréhensible. Elle vivra sa vie ou une autre vie.
4- L’image photographique ne sera pas considérée comme un objet de valeur. Elle ne sera donc pas divine mais il sera permis de lui apporter douceur et amour.
5 - Le format de l’édition sera à chaque fois différent ou/et utilisera un matériel varié.
6- Le budget de chaque édition sera fixé à €1.000, ce compris les sous pour l’artiste en tenant compte de l’index ou du majeur.
7- L’artiste recevra une montre et aura au maximum un mois pour rendre une proposition.
8- La publication sera vierge de toute marque déposée et de tatouage. Un pochette chocolatée enrobera la publication et indiquera sa provenance.
9- Les archives et les auteurs ne devront jamais avoir été au restaurant ensemble

Ter gelegenheid van de tentoonstelling bij l’Enfant Sauvage geeft ‘La Lokal Fototek Foundation twee publicaties uit met telkens een Brusselse archiefcollectie als onderwerp – de catalogue spatial Frimousse en de persoonlijke familiealbums van de familie Cocozza. De artiesten Kenneth Mottar en Nick Defour werden gevraagd om met de collecties aan het werk te gaan en een publicatie te realiseren. Voor de interventies van de kunstenaars werden 9 te volgen regels geformuleerd. Dit vormt een dogma voor de creatie van de publicaties.

1. De kunstenaar vertrekt steevast vanuit de beelden, die op tactiel, glad of gebruind papier zijn afgedrukt.
et team van Lokal Fototek Foundation drukt de beelden af, onvervormd en op origineel formaat.
3. De publicatie dient niet noodzakelijk leesbaar of verhalend te zijn. Deze kan op zichzelf bestaan en een geheel eigen leven leiden.
4. Het fotografisch beeld wordt niet als waardeobject behandeld. Het beeld is niet heilig maar het is toegestaan het te aanbidden en lief te hebben.
5. Iedere uitgave zal van formaat verschillen en/of uit variërende materialen vervaardigd zijn.
6. Het budget voor iedere uitgave is gelimiteerd tot 1000 €, inclusief de centjes voor de kunstenaar en rekening houdend met de index of de middenvinger.
7. De kunstenaar krijgt een klok en heeft maximum één maand de tijd om een voorstel in te dienen.
8. De publicatie zal vrij zijn van alle handelsmerken en tatoeages. De publicatie zal in een chocolade jasje gewikkeld zijn dat tevens de herkomst aanduidt.
9. Kunstenaar en archief mogen voorheen nooit samen op restaurant geweest zijn.

On the occasion of the exhibition at L’Enfant Sauvage, The Lokal Fototek Foundation will publish two publications based on two collections from Brussels archives - the Frimousse space catalog and the personal albums of the Cocozza family. They invited artists Kenneth Mottar and Nick Defour to intervene on these series of images and produce a publication.

The Lokal Fototek Foundation has composed a list of nine rules to be followed, which form a dogma for the manufacture of the publications :

1- The artist will work with images printed on smooth or tan tactile paper.

3- It is not requiered for the publication to be specifically readable or follow an understandable narrative. She will live her life or another life.
4- The photographic image will not be considered as an item of value. It will therefore not be divine but it will be allowed to show it sweetness and love.
5- The format of the edition will be different each time and / or will be produced in a variety of different materials.
6- The budget for each edition will be set at € 1,000, including the artist's sub, taking into account the index or middle finger.
7- The artist will receive a watch and will have a maximum of one month to submit a proposal.
8- The publication will be free of any trademark or tattoo. A chocolate pouch will envelop the publication and indicate its origin.
9- Archives and authors must never have been to a restaurant together
