Le légendaire Lige Curry, bassiste des Parliament- Funkadelic fait un arrêt à Bruxelles à l’occasion de sa seconde tournée européenne. La capitale va groover très sérieusement le ovembre et c’est avec un autre incontournable des P-Funk, DeWayne "Blackbyrd" McKnight (guitariste et directeur musical des P-Funk All Stars de George Clinton) que Lige Curry, partagera la scène du Pianofabriek.

Fidèle musicien du Dr Funkenstein, alias George Clinton, depuis 1978, Lige Curry est également un artiste producteur confirmé. Ces deux génies du Funk viendront séduire le public belge en quartet sous le patronyme « Ligedelic Mothership Connection ».

Notre bassiste P-Funk a été sollicité par les plus grands tels que Sly Stone, Stanley Jordan; Walter Morrison, Gary Cooper, Bootsy Collins & The Rubber Band. Ce n'est que très récemment qu'il forme avec son compère de toujours, DeWayne "Blackbyrd" McKnight, le projet Ligedelic Mothership Connection (The Second Coming), une formation P-Funk plus resserrée et personnelle mais qui impressionne sur scène et bientôt en studio....

DeWayne "Blackbyrd" McKnight est quant à lui aussi issu des rangs de la P-Funk army depuis 40 ans. Guitariste prodige, il est un musicien qui compte et sur lequel les plus grands ont déjà compté. Il a fait partie des Headhunters de Herbie Hancock et même du Miles Davis Electric band dont il a été l'élève. On a pu également le voir et l'entendre aux côtés des Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The legendery Lige Curry, bass player of Parliament Funkadelic will arrive in Brussels during his second european tour. The capital and the « nation will be (seriously) under the groove » on november, and that’s with another P-funk member, De Wayne «Blackbyrd » McKnight (guitarist and musical director of George Clinton and his P-funk All Stars) that Lige Curry, will share the stage of Pianofabriek.

Loyal musician to Dr. Funkenstein, aka George Clinton, since 1978, Lige Curry is also an established artist-producer. These two geniuses of Funk will seduce the Belgian public in quartet under the name "LIGEDELIC Mothership Connection".

our P-funk bassist has been solicited by the greatest such as Sly Stone, Stanlyer Jordan,

Only recently, with his long-time friend, DeWayne "Blackbyrd" McKnight, he has been working on the Ligedelic Mothership Connection project (The Second Coming), a tighter and more personal P-Funk training that impresses on stage and will be recorderd soon in studio.. ..

DeWayne "Blackbyrd" McKnight is also a P-Funk army veteran for 40 years. Guitar prodigy, he is a musician who counts and on which the greatest have already counted. He was one of Herbie Hancock's Headhunters and even the Miles Davis Electric, who was his teacher. We could also see him with the Red Hot Chili Peppers
