Leonardo 4 Children – 'Music from Movies' Concert & Awards Ceremony

Get swept away by the timeless melodies of Ennio Morricone, John Williams, Whitney Houston and Charlie Chaplin ! Join us for an extraordinary evening featuring live performances of iconic music from cinematic masterpieces such as Mission, Schindler’s List, Titanic, and Nuovo Cinema Paradiso.

Presented by Euronews chief anchor Meabh Mc Mahon alongside Carmen Cutugno, the event celebrates the children, teenagers, young composers, and teachers who participated in the Leonardo 4 Children 2026 Awards, creating original projects combining Art and Science related to Climate, Equality, and Peace. Through this hands-on approach to civic education, the initiative empowers younger generations to address today’s most pressing challenges through creativity in art and science to become the new "Leonardo’s of the 21st century".

This year’s edition saw a record-breaking number of over 1,300 children and young people participating from 19 countries, bringing the total since 2019 to more than 5,635 participants in the Awards and over 28,000 people attending our events and workshops.

The event has received the high patronage of Unesco, the European Parliament, the European Committee of the Regions, the European Economic and Social Committee, the Italian Embassy to Belgium, and the Italian Institute of Culture in Brussels, with the support of Axa and Vitruvya.

The programme will feature performances by outstanding young talents alongside renowned professional musicians, including:

- Augustin Dumay (violin) & Anastasiya Petryshak (violin)
- Bruno Ispiola (cello) & the Kundera String Quartet
- Laurent Beeckmans & Erika Zoi (piano)
- Sopranos Olga Artemenko & Anastasia Varga
- Orchestra and choir of the European School of Brussels Iv
- Choir of Asbl Cœur de Lion.

All proceeds will be donated to support activities carried out in Save the Children’s Punti Luce centers, helping children and adolescents strengthen their Steam skills, contributing to the objectives of the Leonardo 4 Children initiative.
