Lana Suran Piano Recital
Bach, Babadjanian, Arutiunian, Schubert, Chopin and Rachmaninoff
Swedish pianist Lana Suran invites us for an afternoon with musical moments from East to West with known pieces such as the 4th Ballade of Chopin and a selection of short pieces by Armenian composers Babadjanian and Arutiunian. The program will also include works by Schubert (who just celebrated his h birthday in ) and giants of the piano repertoire, Bach and Rachmaninoff. Lana is currently Artist in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium and resides in Paris.
