Nikos Portokaloglou is one of the top artists in Greece for the last 40 years. Songwriter, singer, guitarist and producer. In 1980 he created the very successful band "Fatme". Their first record was released in 198d their sixth and last in 1989 when Nikos followed a solo career.
During his career, he was highly appreciated by great artists like Manos Chatzidakis, Mikis Theodorakis, Dionisis Savopoulos and many others. Apart from that, there are numerous collaborations with great singers, composers and lyricists like Charis Alexiou, Dionysis Savvopoulos, Giannis Kotsiras, Dimitris Mitropanos, Eleftheria Arvanitaki etc.
Nikos Portokaloglou is bringing with him in his suitcase 18 personal records, several soundtracks,- thousands of live performances, great hits and sold out concerts. His musical journey which lasts almost 40 years, is defined by his personal style of songwriting which combines traditional Greek music with blues, rock and reggae sounds.
Three years ago, for the first time in his career Nikos Portokaloglou, decided to present one tv show called "Music box". The idea was to invite and mix on the same couch people from different sectors of the music business. Singers, musicians and songwriters respresenting different styles of music, remix all types of music and the result is to be the No 1 tv music show in Greece at the moment.
During the summer he celebrated 40 years in music with ld out concerts performed at Odeon of Herodes Atticus.

Nikos Portokaloglou comes to Brussels to present a concert-celebration- of his music journey.

Nikos will be accompanied by Viky Karatzoglou & Byron Tsourapis, two exceptional music artists of younger generation and his powerful band.
