The National Congress of Kurdistan (KNK), the organization of the Kurdish community of Belgium Nav-bel, the Kurdish Institute of Brussels and other partner organizations are organizing the tenth edition of the Kurdistan Cultural Week, which will be held from 21 as of August 23, 2026 at Spanjeplan /Spanish Square in Brussels.
Kurdish Culture Week promotes mutual understanding and cultural exchanges between the different communities of Belgium, while introducing Kurdish culture to a wider audience. On the program: music, dance and theater shows, traditional parades, as well as culinary specialties and typically Kurdish sweets.
Kurdish culture is rich in music, gastronomy and art. We warmly invite you to participate in the 10th edition of Kurdish Culture Week and to discover the heritage and traditions of the Kurdish people.
The festival will open on August 21 at 3 p.m. with a festive parade of Kurdish folklore, from Place de la Bourse to Place d'Espagne. Over the next few days, the Spanish Steps will host concerts, dance performances, cultural presentations and delicious Kurdistan dishes. We look forward to partying with you.
