Sitar and Tabla: Nicolas Delaigue & Sandip Banerjee

Nicolas Delaigue is a sitar and surbahar player, specialist of north indian classical music. After years of immersion, practice and dedication to this art, he was able to create a bridge between India and the West, and become a reference in the interpretation and teaching of this music in Europe. Nicolas has learned sitar and hindustani classical music with Patrick Moutal, Indrajit Banerjee and have received additionnal training with Sugato and Ustad Shahid Parvez. Today, as a international concert performer, Nicolas have presented his music in many prestigious venues in Europe and around the world. Nicolas teaches sitar, Indian music and modal improvisation in numerous public, private and associative structures throughout France and Europe.
