NUTSHELL is an international reggae band having performed across Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, and Spain. Their sound is a vibrant fusion of Reggae, Dub, and Ska, bringing high energy and deep soul to every stage. Currently promoting their brand-new ep “Burning Fire”, the band delivers conscious lyrics, uplifting grooves, and powerful rhythms. This latest release features a special collaboration with renowned international producer Manjul Souletie (Danakil), creating a mystical and meditative sonic journey. Expect real positive Reggae vibes.
OF Roots And Men: Martin “Mata“ Brettschneider (voc/guit), Ayad „Dub Wise“ Ahmed (drums) and Yves Monniez (bass) decided to found a new group in Brussels in 2023, after having performed and recorded with local Reggae bands together for many years (Brima Dondon and the Melting Band, Giant Tree, Fouta Flow, Vagaband, Fidia Samba and many more)
Joined by Cedric Messe (sax), Oram – Of Roots and Men was born. The style of their original compositions can be directly associated to Jamaican 70ies Conscious Reggae, yet the lyrics equally adress our present day’s social, political and spiritual issues. On stage, Of Roots and Men present a powerful, deep and timeless Roots sound with catchy melodies and a conscious message. From the first moment, their performance wraps the audience into that special vibe the Reggae community refers to as irie.
