Founded with the goal of making the Buddha’s teachings universally available, the Patrul Rinpoche Translation Group organises, among numerous other activities, an annual translation workshop in Belgium. In , it will take place in Dharma City, bringing together translators who share their experience and work together on various texts in a complementary way.
As in previous years, participants will work on transcribing and translating tasks; interested volunteers are welcome. Basic knowledge of Tibetan language is an asset but not indispensable.
For transcribing no experience is required, and the necessary training will be given to beginners. Newcomers in the domain of translation will be asked to pass an initial test. Please note that it will be useful to bring your laptop.
In order to cover the costs of the workshop, a contribution of uros per day is asked. Any profit will be used in the context of the Patrul Rinpoche Translation Group.
